Tara Na Sa Antipolo: Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa [2022.03.12]

Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa has always been on my bucket list, and I finally got to make it happen when Klook had a Buy 2 Take 2 sale on Feb 22. I immediately invited 3 of my friends to come with me and decided on a date. It was such a deal because each person just paid 50% of what it normally costs on Klook.

RATES and RESERVATION:

There are different packages available, but we just bought the cheapest package on Klook so we paid around PHP400 each, which is really not that bad. After getting the vouchers from Kook, I emailed Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa right away to secure the dates. The confirmation came fast and they sent us information on what we needed to send them at least a few days prior to our visit. We just sent them a copy of our IDs and filled out a health declaration form, as well as a waiver.

The inclusions are:

  • Slippers
  • Access to the spa’s facilities (locker, sauna, heated jacuzzi, hydro-massage pool, infinity pools, Dr. Fish Spa and meditation lounges)
  • Traditional bathrobe and towel
  • Antipolo’s best suman (glutinous rice cake) + lemongrass iced tea

LOCATION:

Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa is located at Loreland Farm Resort, Sitio Loreland, Barangay, Antipolo, Rizal. My friend and I decided to meet at SM City East Ortigas, and took a Grab from there. We took Saturday traffic into consideration so we decided to meet at 10am but there was actually no traffic going there so we were there even before 11am.

Going back home was a different story though and that’s what I actually expected. Having been stuck in the Pasig – Cainta area on a Saturday afternoon months ago, I knew we’d have a hard time going back to the city. We tried booking a Grab for an hour before giving up. We were lucky to have chanced upon a cab who just dropped off some guests at the resort. Unfortunately, he was about to go home to Angono so he dropped us off at Tikling, where Celine and I took an FX bound to Ayala. Then, I walked home from Buting.

OPENING HOURS:

They have a morning tour (9am to 2pm) and an afternoon tour (12nn to 5pm). We chose to do the afternoon tour since 9am is just too early. LOL. However, you can definitely stay in the common area or restaurant before and after these hours.

FOOD SITUATION:

We arrived at 11am so we wanted to have lunch first. Unfortunately, the restaurant close to the entrance was closed. However, the staff allows guests to stay in the garden where there are tables and chair. It’s the area with the beautiful, colorful umbrellas, so it’s really not such a bad place to stay in. And even if it was noon, this is in Antipolo so it’s not scorching hot. They told us we can get GrabFood delivered so that’s exactly what we did. At around 11:30am, they told us they can take us to the spa, but we were still waiting for our food. However, this restaurant was open after our time at the spa and we stayed here while booking our Grab.

There is another restaurant inside the spa, which is on the same floor as the reception. This is where they serve the suman and iced tea that comes with the voucher, but they also serve other food and drinks.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

Just the normal keep your masks on unless you’re eating or swimming.

THE LULJETTA’S HANGING GARDENS SPA EXPERIENCE:

So from the entrance of Loreland Resort, a van took us to the entrance of Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa. Honestly, I thought it was going to be really far, but you can actually walk from point to point. However, of course, we weren’t going to say no to a free shuttle.

At the reception, we were given our bracelets, plus a basket with our robes and towels. We were instructed that we can have our suman and tea anytime we want, we just need to go to the restaurant located on the same floor.

The female locker room is on the next floor, which also doubles as the changing and shower room. We were lucky that when it was time for us to shower, we were the only ones there! I am also grateful that they have a hairdryer! #longhairproblems

I think we were able to see and use all the amenities except for the sauna. I don’t remember seeing any signs of the sauna, but Mine said she saw it, only it was crowded when we passed by the area. i didn’t enjoy the hydro-massage pool, I feel like there is not enough pressure. If you really want amazing hydrotherapy, then Ace Water Spa is the best place for this. We did enjoy everything else though! We spent much of our time at the Dr. Fish Spa – there are actually two of them, and even went back to the one with bigger fishies before leaving.

Seryoso along nagsusungka while kumukuda LOL

Then, we went to one of the lounges, which is located above the infinity pool. We pretended this was our Airbnb HAHAHA. Seriously though, it has everything – a bed, a lounge area, a few sungka sets, and a bathroom! I love the four-poster bed, and I was totally feeling it, taking photos in my robe. LOL.

“Airbnb” tour LOL

After having our merienda, we decided to explore the other side, where the jacuzzi was and the movie/games lounge. I think we spent a good hour in the jacuzzi. We made the most out of it because it was just us. When another group arrived, only then we decided to leave.

“Private jacuzz” LOL

After an hour in the Jacuzzi, we spent time in the movie/games lounge, where we played Uno and dominos. You can also watch movies here for free! That is if you want to spend 2 hours of your 5 hours at Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa watching a movie. This lounge is as pretty as the “Airbnb lounge”. LOL.

I love how most furniture are outdoor ones so it’s fine even if you are wet from swimming.

After games in the lounge, we finally decided to swim in the infinity pool. It was so funny because the entire afternoon, I made sure to not get my hair wet but when we got to the infinity pool. I went floating, obviously getting my hair. I couldn’t stop myself hahahaha. But thank goodness for the hairdryer in the female locker room. That was truly godsent. LOL.

When we checked out, we were picked up from the entrance of Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa to the entrance of Loreland. I actually wanted to walk so we can also take photos in the photo spots around Loreland, but the driver came just when we started walking.

I really enjoyed our time in Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa, it was super relaxing and I didn’t realize there was actually so much to do. The Klook voucher was super sulit!
